I’m keeping cozy in neutral wool & leather with a side of Scandi chic to get through the dreariest months of weather ahead. Early January feels like the greyest stretch – the holidays are over and the warmth of Spring feels eons away. Still, there are delights to find this month. I’m usually quite stingy with my favourite knits – I try not to wear them too often to avoid pilling and avoid needing to launder them. After all, hand washing cashmere and wool is nothing if not a nightmare. But in order to brighten these dark days, I’m reaching for and layering my softest and most expensive knits whenever I feel like it. And in reflection, how insane is that… to limit how often you wear your favourite things?!
Thankfully, my favourite knit of the season is an absolute steal. So much so, that I bought it in multiple colours! And because the price point is so low, I never feel guilty wearing it as often as I please. The boxy fit and draped shoulders make it oversized perfection, and I love pairing it with leather trousers as I have here, or even with leggings around the house. Even better, it’s one sale, so BRB… I’m going to buy it in grey, too.
