my solo trips are some of the most treasured times of my life. quiet mornings with coffee, open days to explore a new city with no one to answer to. time to think, to seek inspiration, to remember I already have everything I need within me. and then to come home to the people and life I love feeling renewed and rebalanced.

if you find yourself on the left bank of Paris with une demi-heure to spare, might I suggest a little visit to @fondation_giacometti. a small, elegant museum that feels worlds away and blissfully under-visited, with beautiful interiors only surpassed by the stark poetry of his work. it’s a space of stillness amidst the rhythm of the city and I can’t wait to return.
