From couture feather robes to garland-lined stairs, winter whites and monochrome holiday decor, my December 2020 Moodboard feels neutral, muted, and cozy – just like the holidays this year. We’re all expecting a bit of a different holiday season, I know. Celebrations are smaller, there feels less of a reason to decorate, and certainly no occasion to dress up. Instead, I’ll mirror Anine Bing and throw a luxe coat over my loungewear. And why not allow myself an extra croissant if I feel like it and another coffee, too? Finally, I’m trading my traditional Boxing Day trek to shop virtually from the comfort of my duvet. We’ve got to embrace the newness and the weirdness that 2020 has brought us. One day, I hope we will look back on the ways we adapted with a certain fondness in our resistance. However and wherever you are choosing to celebrate this year, I hope you’ll feel loved, spoiled, and a sense of the childlike joy that this time of year always seems to bring.
