2022 Vision Board

January 1, 2022

My 2022 vision board was a challenging one to create. Things feel so uncertain, it’s difficult to visualize what the next week will look like, let alone the next year. There is some major change happening in my life at the very start of this year. While it’s incredibly exciting, anything new is a little daunting. And let’s not even talk about the precarious circumstances surrounding this ever-evolving (and seemingly never-ending) pandemic and resulting uncertain travel plans. I am SO grateful for 2021, the lessons it taught me and the opportunities it allowed for. I ended last year closer to my husband, more sure of my goals, and healthier than I’ve been in years. This year is bringing a new job, a new home, and a new (furry) family member. I am a nervous person by nature, but I’m trying to channel that energy into excitement. Instead, I’m manifesting newfound successes, life-changing experiences and more love than I can handle. Hoping that you all find the very same things.

Brilliant, creative, generous, kind… I have been struggling to find the words to describe who you were and how much you meant to me this entire week.

He was a man who lived with grace and unwavering integrity. While he achieved great success in life, his true sense of purpose was in the good that he did and the love that he gave.

At home, he and my mother shared the type of marriage we all aspire to have - theirs was the kind of partnership that novels are written about, and I am blessed by being their forever third wheel.

If you knew what he was like as a father, devoted doesn’t even begin to cover it. We were so very alike, with a bond that often bordered on telepathic. His loss is profound, but in this past week, I have felt surrounded by the warmth of our incredible memories and the knowledge that there were no words left unsaid, no sentiment of love unexpressed. He knew exactly what he meant to me, and, gosh, do I ever know the same.

To everyone who has reached out to myself, my mother and Jon, thank you so very much. We’re overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, his clients, colleagues and beyond. To know he meant so much to so many has made an unbearable week a little bit brighter. We look forward to celebrating the incredible Ter and his life together later next week.

I love you to the moon and back, big rabbit.
I always will.
