July 2020 Mood Board

July 30, 2020

Not so much a moodboard this month, as more of a visual reflection of the past few weeks. Professionally, it was a trying month, but ultimately so rewarding. Personally, our search for the perfect home continues, and so does my ongoing inspiration sourcing. At its core, July has been a month of dreaming for me, and for creating. I’m so very excited about all that is to come.

Finally, a reminder that I wish I had known when I was younger the way that I do now: you are only as pretty as you treat people. As you get older, the beauty that remains is truly that which comes from within.

my solo trips are some of the most treasured times my solo trips are some of the most treasured times of my life. quiet mornings with coffee, open days to explore a new city with no one to answer to. time to think, to seek inspiration, to remember I already have everything I need within me. and then to come home to the people and life I love feeling renewed and rebalanced.
if you find yourself on the left bank of Paris wit if you find yourself on the left bank of Paris with une demi-heure to spare, might I suggest a little visit to @fondation_giacometti. a small, elegant museum that feels worlds away and blissfully under-visited, with beautiful interiors only surpassed by the stark poetry of his work. it’s a space of stillness amidst the rhythm of the city and I can’t wait to return.
