Picturesque Places in PEC: The CAPE

December 20, 2020

I’d been Insta-stalking the most picturesque place in PEC for months before we went there – the CAPE is truly like a little bit of history in the County. Each room is different, with vintage chandeliers, big bay windows, and arched doorways. It is a vintage interior lover’s dream.

I know that as an event venue, like most businesses in the wedding and event industries, it was hit pretty hard by the ongoing pandemic. At the end of the summer, they opened up their individual rooms for booking overnight stays. What a way to pivot in difficult times! It’s certainly to the benefit of anyone who has admired the property. Personally, I have my eyes on the Elizabeth Taylor suite as a potential location for our next county escape.
